In Wang’s attempt to stay away from the mainstream term of “Ad campaign”, his Image Piece last year was launched one-time only in the March Issue of Interview Magazine and a Billboard on Lafayette Street. His press release stated that it was an image meant to inspire in an out-of-box perspective. Kinda funny that it seemed to have inspired mainstream fashion.

Noticed the amazing pixelated bathroom design in the New Museum…

A month later, came across “Spring Fever” logo in NYTimes T Magzine Issue. When asked to create a “T” for the latest Women’s Fashion issue, Rodarte’s Laura and Kate Mulleavy were “inspired by the cherry blossoms of spring.”

To me it looked like a Spring version of the tiled bathroom.
